Dancing Sasha!
Sasha continues to amuse us with her many talents; the latest we have witnessed is her ability to stand on her hind legs and dance around (really!) for 30 seconds or sometimes a little more. This acrobatic feat is usually provoked by the two Pomeranians in the yard behind ours. Since our fence is wooden and 6 feet tall, she can't see them, but she can certainly hear them, and in order to try to get a look (all the while barking in reply) she dances around on her hind legs. I think she believes that at some point, she will be able to leap over the fence and join them, but that isn't going to happen. But hope springs eternal for Sasha.

Norman's Halloween Costume
Normy Bear didn't have to dress up for Halloween, he wears his little wizard hat every day! It's one of his cutest features. How can anyone find him scary with his little hat and funny pitty waddle? Especially when he's just woken up from a nap on a cold, wet day.
In fact, as the days grow colder, I find it harder and harder to convince him to get out of bed and go outside for a potty break. This morning when I opened the door he just looked at me and walked back to his crate. I can't blame him though because I feel the exact same way!

Norman the love bug
Hard to believe Norman has only been with us for a week! He's already won us over with his sweet demeanor. He rests in his crate, rides in the car and walks on the leash wonderfully. So far his biggest indiscretions are standing in your way when you're walking and trying to put everything in his mouth like a puppy. He is also learning to play nicely with our five year old female boxer. At first he didn't understand her cues, but now he listens to her carefully and backs off when she's had enough. Norman is a great dog who responds so well to love and encouragement.
